Their collaboration on Caracara is still regarded as one of the best in the game, and it is tough to determine who had the best verse amongst the two legendary rappers. Speaking during the ESAM Podcast interview, Kid X was placed between a hard place and a rock after he was asked about who had the best verse between himself and K.O on Caracara.

“Who had a better verse you or K.O?” asked Rea Gopane. Responding to Rea’s question, Kid X said he enjoyed his verse. Without blowing his own horn, the rapper lauded K.O’s work on the song, claiming that he was the one who made it sound as good as it does.

“I really enjoyed my verse, I also think his verse technically, in terms of technically the type of verse that you want on the song like that, I think he ticked all the boxes,” he said. “Like you want catchy, you want swag for thing that people are going to remember, quotable, he ticked all those boxes, so his verse for me is like a 10 out of 10 verse for that specific song. Said, Kid X.

Despite Kid X’s departure from CashTime years ago, K.O still sent words of encouragement to his peer who decided to pursue his King 88 vision. “Firstly I’d like to take this moment to wish my brother and friend, Kid X, all the best on his journey as an artist and his new 88 King vision. I am super proud of him. I have similar sentiments about Moozlie. I will love and support you guys always,” he said.

In a statement, K.O admitted that the success of Caracara made him recruit more artists to CashTime and he still appreciated Kid X’s contribution to the song.

The success of Caracara put me in a position to bring some of the Cashtime Life guys to my shows and share a portion of my booking fees with them. This was done in the name of getting their brands out there and building my team.” K.O said in a statement.
