The name of the song is self-explanatory. It weaves along various threads in a tale of friendship, using America and South Africa as the backdrop. The music video was favourably accepted in the South African hip-hop community, but the rappers also shared their behind-the-scenes experiences while filming the video.

Taking to Instagram, Domani shared the video clip of the Friends music video behind scenes with a caption; “BTS of ‘Friends’ w/ @nasty_csa 💪🏽🪂 “Friends” video OUT NOW,” wrote Domani. Domani is the son of American rapper TI, who Nasty C worked with on the song “Black a& White” on the “Zulu Man With Some Power” album. Although the album’s popularity may have waned a little, “Black & White” continues to be popular.

Domani had travelled to Mzansi to meet the Zulu Man because he had a strong passion for Nasty C and his rapping technique. The two spent time creating the music video, which is now accessible to everyone. The duration of the “Friends” music video is 2 minutes, 35 seconds. Not the longest music video, but powerful as a masterpiece and a commitment to peace for anybody who cares to watch.

It’s still to be seen if Nasty C and Domani will have more collaboration in place. The American rapper was also part of Nasty C’s Ivyson Army Tour and clearly shows that they have a very good relationship when it comes to promoting each other’s music.
