Lavida Nota Opens Up About The First Time He Met Nasty C, Kwesta & Kid X. Before most artists blew up they were at the bottom but have been the best example of where talent and dedication can get you, Kwesta, Kid X and Nasty C showed us that.
Sharing a little throwback image was self acclaimed music mogul Lavida Nota who is famous for expressing Raw Hip hop views. Last time he was in a crossfire with Nasty C after slamming his music and Zulu raps, the drama ended up involving Kwesta. The disagreement doesn’t mean that Nota didn’t realize how much of a talent the Palm Trees rapper is.
The image with the three rappers spoke volumes as it predicted the future of SA Hip Hop.
“Backstage at show in Umhlanga between 7 to 8 years ago I asked these gentlemen to pose for a picture with the “future of SA Hip-hop…” I don’t recall introducing anyone else that way ever again but best believe I saw it from the start. It takes one to know one. I still believe,” Nota captioned the image.
He may have seen potential but none of the rappers in the picture are associated with him. Kwesta made it clear after the heated views around Nasty C.
“Ekse.. I need everyone to know that @lavidanota and I no longer work together and haven’t been for a while now. To those that have been calling me trying to reach him, please contact him directly and to those that have been calling him to reach me, please do the same. Ta,” the Ngud’ rapper assured fans.
