Yanga Chief’s Brother Explains Why He Doesn’t Ride On His Brother’s Fame. Yanga Chief, real name Yanga Ntshakaza’s tremendous music career has not only pleased his fans but has also motivated his family members, including his brother.

Yanga Chief‘s brother Yamkela Ntshakaza is still working towards finding his way in the music industry. In his quest, he is coming across people asking him why he is not seeking assistance from his older brother who has already made it. Yanga’s brother wrote on Threads that he is making his way in the industry without the benefit of his brother’s reputation.

“Someone recently asked me if I love music because of Yanga and why I don’t use him as a connection to propel my career. I was taken aback cause to me what that sounded like was “you’re trying to be like your brother and you’re not famous to do it.” Wrote Yamkela.

Yamkela said that he comes from a music-oriented family and he is his own man and he will work his way out without Yanga’s co-sign.

“Friends, I come from a family of musically-oriented people, but those who know me, know that I’m my own man. Yanga is the first to do it big and I love him for it cause he’s proof it is possible to follow one’s dreams. So let’s see what happens hey!” He added.

Yanga Chief responded to his brother’s remarks by saying that he is pleased with his brother’s direction in striving for his achievement in the music industry.

“There’s this thing called “artist development” that people sorely underrate. I love your trajectory and how you’ve taken your craft more seriously than just “blowing up”. I’d personally hate for you to make it off a co-sign. You’d learn nothing. You’re way bigger than that. Don’t even feel a way when they ask. You’re the only one that knows you best.” Wrote Yanga Chief.
