Lynn Forbes Opens Up About Her Feelings Towards Durban Following AKA’s Assassination

AKA’s mother Lynn Forbes spoke with Carol Ofori on Eastcoast Radio about how she is feeling three months after the Supa Mega kicked the bucket. In the interview, Lynn Forbes said that she is not ready to go to Durban. This came after Carol Ofori asked; “have you ever been back to Durban and how do you feel about Durban? Are you scared to come to Florida Road? Are you done with us?” Asked Carol.

In response, Lynn Forbes said she is not scared and with time she will go to Durban and going back now will open up so much in her heart. “Im not scared, and fear is not something I can live with, fear is the most devastating thing, fear is something that keeps you in jail, in your own personal prison,” said Forbes.

“I don’t believe I would never go back to Durban again, I think it’s just natural at the moment, I have no desire to go to Durban at the moment, she said. “What I do have a desire for, and it’s not about Durban, but I think getting on a plane to Durban will just open up so much, it will be just so much. So it’s not Durban as a place, it’s not Durban as people, I think Kiernan loved Durban, his fanbase is there, and the Megacy is alive in Durban.”

Lynn Forbes added that she would love to visit the place where AKA died. “One of the yearnings I have is to stand in the spot where he died, and just be there. I know his soul is not there anymore and his body is not there anymore, but that is the last place where he was alive.”
