Youngsta CPT Reacts To Reports That Weapon In AKA’s Murder Was Found In Durban. AKA’s murder investigation is turning out to be one of the most perplexing puzzles to unravel. The Supa Mega and his friend Tibz were shot dead in Durban three months ago, and no substantial arrests have been made.
Fellow rapper Youngsta CPT has been very vocal about AKA and Tibz getting their justice. The Kaapstad rapper once claimed that if the incident had happened in Capetown the culprits would’ve been found hours after the shooting. If that sh*t happened in Cape Town we would’ve found the Naaiers in an hour!” Tweeted Youngsta CPT.
Following a fresh breakthrough in the AKA murder case, Eye Witness stated that the weapon used to kill AKA and Tibz was found in Durban. The publication reported that the weapon was found in Umlazi over the weekend and it was for ballistic testing and it came out positive.
Taking to Twitter, Youngsta CPT was left with more questions than answers. The rapper’s questions came in line with previous reports that AKA’s murderers were found and arrested in Cape Town. “Sooo? Not in Cape Town anymore?” Tweeted Youngsta CPT.
In March, IOL reported that three suspects were arrested in Capetown in connection with AKA’s murder. Following the arrest, Western Cape Police Spokesperson Colonel André Traut said that more information about the investigation will be provided by the police in Durban. “It is a KZN case, should we get any information, it will be sent to them. You should contact them for information,” he said as per IOL.
The fans and family of the late rapper are still grieving after they were robbed of their loved one. Kiernan’s mother Lynn Forbes stated she will take her time until she visits Durban. She added that one of her cries is to visit the spot where AKA died.
“I don’t believe I would never go back to Durban again, I think it’s just natural at the moment, I have no desire to go to Durban at the moment, she said. “What I do have a desire for, and it’s not about Durban, but I think getting on a plane to Durban will just open up so much, it will be just so much. So it’s not Durban as a place, it’s not Durban as people, I think Kiernan loved Durban, his fanbase is there, and the Megacy is alive in Durban.“
“One of the yearnings I have is to stand in the spot where he died, and just be there. I know his soul is not there anymore and his body is not there anymore, but that is the last place where he was alive.” She said.
