Boity and Cassper Nyovest have recently lit up the conversation in the rap space after the former hopped on AKA’s Mbuzi Freestyle, while Cassper came through with a Jackpot freestyle with Anele Zondo. Taking to Twitter, Rouge is the latest rapper to have praised the current wave in the game following the release of the said freestyles.

The Bongo Zaka hitmaker praised fellow and acknowledged the effort being put in by the SA female rappers and she hinted at jumping on the wave. “This Mbuzi remix and Cassper freestyle is bring rap back so nicely man❤️♥️.the girls are shinning. Okay think I should??” Tweeted Rouge.

Even though Boity has been praised for her Mbuzi Freestyle, she has not been spared from the criticism following her lyrics about the late rappers. Taking to Twitter fans criticized the Wuz Dat hitmaker for being insensitive in her lyrics after name-dropping AKA, Riky Rick and Costa Titch.

“First of all R.I.P. to Supa Mega, who would’ve thought that a rapper of his stature will be taking a bullet through the head,” Boity raps in her freestyle.

“And that sh*t came right after Riky Rick and after that we lost uCosta Titch. When y’all said hip-hop is dead, y’all used your tongues and spoke it into existence, damn,”  raps Boity.
