The project comes with seven tracks with features from industry peers such as Emtee, Marcus Harvey and his brother Jay Jody. The said features were deemed to be the obvious picks and contributors to his project, but no one ever anticipated DJ Maphorisa to be on one of the songs.

A-Reece left most SA hip-hop fans spellbound after he managed to hop on an Afro-beat with the famed DJ Maphorisa featuring Jay Jody on the song ‘Something To Fight For.’ Even though his feature with Emtee also managed to get the spotlight, the joint featuring DJ Maphorisa had everyone on the Twitter timeline craving for some more A-Reece and Phori’s collaboration. Prior to the album’s release, A-Reece addressed what Phori said in an Instagram Live about his next musical endeavour. The rapper added that his OG, referring to Phori, had warned everyone about his future body of work, and it is now evident that the two artists had something planned. “the thing is my OG warned you all,” wrote A-Reece.

DJ Maphorisa has been a massive contributor to SA music and the famed producer has made it clear that he wants to be appreciated for all he has done whilst he is still alive. Taking to Twitter; Phori reminded everyone of what he had done to help others succeed financially in the music industry. He acknowledged that he made a “big sacrifice” in order to fulfil the dreams of others.
