Cassper Explains Why He Is Not Performing At Riky Rick’s Memorial Service. Cassper Nyovest and Riky Rick were widely reported they were not on good terms. Following the tragic passing of Boss Zonke, the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker cleared the air on the state of his relationship with Riky.

Cassper delivered a farewell speech during Riky Rick‘s memorial service which has been attended by the late’s peers in the entertainment industry. Everyone would’ve expected Cass to perform but the Tito Mboweni chanter explains that Riky had other plans for him at the upcoming CottonFest and he will honor that by performing at the festival.

“One of the reasons why I don’t want to perform today is because Riky actually had planned to bring me out at the CottonFest as a surprise act,” he said. Cassper also revealed how this idea came to fruition since he didn’t want to talk to Riky because he was upset with him.

“For this to happen he hit me up all the time and I never wanted to talk to him because I was still angry,” he said. “Me and Riky spoke so many times because he always forced me to talk to him,” he concluded.

In memory of Riky, Cassper also took to Instagram and recounted the last discussion he had with the late rapper confirming that the two were on good terms. “Your last words to me on January 9 were: ‘Don’t worry Boizen, you gone be ayt. Hold it down Boyz! Im out!.’ I don’t know if we’ll be ayt Riky. The load is sooo heavy“
