Even up to this very day, the tragic deaths of these artists remain vivid and raw in the memories of their loved ones, fans, and fellow artists alike. In the South African Hip Hop community, every Friday is dedicated to celebrating the life of AKA through #AKAFridays. Recently, Lucasraps took a moment to reminisce and share one of the unforgettable moments he had with AKA and Costa Titch.

Taking to Twitter, Durban rapper poured out his emotions as he reminisced about the studio session he shared with the two late rappers. Lucasraps described the atmosphere as brimming with positive energy and vibes, with no egos in sight. Instead, everyone was present with a willingness to learn and collaborate.

“I won’t even lie this sh*t kinda f*k*d me up. Why, cause that studio session was honestly so f*k*n fun! There wasn’t anyone acting cool everybody was open to learning. AKA & Costa was both close friends so it was more than just making music that day. Rest easy LEGENDS!” Lucasraps said.

The untimely deaths of AKA and Costa Titch were deemed tragic, prompting the police to initiate investigations into both cases. However, significant progress has been made in the murder case of AKA, with individuals involved now facing murder charges.

However, the situation differs for Costa Titch’s passing, as his mother continues to grieve and seek answers regarding the circumstances surrounding her son’s death. “It’s tough for me not to know what happened to Costa. Hopefully, I can get some answers. I need those answers. I know my son. My son was no addict, and he definitely did not have epilepsy. He was a healthy person,” she said.
