DJ Double D Uses IFani As An Example Of How MTV Base Hottest MCs List Is A Joke. Hip hop DJ Double D has lately become unapologetic in his views about SA Hip Hop and certain rappers.

At the time where MTV Base hosted its annual show of presenting the list of 10 hottest MCs of the year, most people including rappers and DJs weren’t pleased with the results. DJ Double D shared how the show should’ve been declared a joke back in 2015 when it included iFani on the list.

“Just like the awards these lists are corrupt ? Didn’t you guys get it in 2015 already? When they put iFani in the Top 10? ? Come on… like let’s just start there,” wrote Double D.

Zingah laughed off the sentiments about how the game doesn’t give iFani a break. “??? you niggas don’t let iFani live on ANY level.”

It can never be denied that iFani did his part in SA Hip Hop, not only did he drop hits after hits but he managed to attain plaques for most of his songs, some of which became anthems in Hip Hop spaces. Unfortunately he abandoned music to chase other interests, most perceived it as drowning leading to views questioning his position in SA Hip Hop.
