Bontle Modiselle On How Priddy Ugly’s Rap Career Affected Her Movements In The Entertainment Industry. Bontle Modiselle is out loud about her support for her husband, rapper Priddy Ugly. The two are both entertainters and thus their individual work affects their relationship in some ways that fans wouldn’t necessarily expect.

Bontle recently appeared on the latest episode of PopCast with Ms Cosmo and Scoop Makhathini to discuss a number of topics relating to the current affairs of SA Hip Hop and South Africa in general. To kick start the episode, Bontle mentioned that she loved their podcast and watches every episode as soon as they drop. She also spoke briefly about when the podcast hosts spoke about her relationship with Priddy and said that she received it with love.

Scoop used the opportunity to ask Bontle if Priddy Ugly has ever been in a situation where he isn’t booked to make him broke so she would leave him. Bontle said yes, the situation has 110% happened before and continued to elaborate on how it affected them.

“I guess somewhat to a degree it did affect how maneuvered in the game in consideration of him and the industry that he’s in and his peers. It did affect how I maneuvered. So certain relationships, deciding who to work with and who not to work with. Which company to keep, who do I entertain and who don’t I. It affected all of that, it really did and in many ways I…“

“It’s chats I had with Priddy where I was just like… There was a time I did speak to him years ago where I was like, I wonder if our relationship affects your work or affects your career and I could remove myself emotionally and look at it from the outside and say hmm.. I wonder what factor I play in how things happen in his life. And his presence in my life, and how it affects everything that happens with me.” Bontle explained.
