How SA Rappers Celebrated Heritage Day 2019. The 24th September continues to be one of the most celebrated and loved holiday in South Africa. Not only is it a reminder to celebrate one’s culture but it is another act of reconciliation amongst tribes.
Heritage day is defined as the day which all are encouraged to celebrate their cultural traditions in the wider context of diversity of cultures, beliefs, and traditions that make up the rainbow nation of South Africa.
While some people were out dancing to some great music, others were feasting to some traditional meals dressed in all types of colours. It was what one would call a colourful Tuesday.
SA Hip hop also consists of stars from various tribes or cultures. Even though some aren’t as vested in their culture through their music, it doesn’t mean they don’t take pride in it. Yesterday was a proof of that.
