Burna Boy Reacts To FNB Concert Postponement Owing To “Low Ticket Sales” Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has spoken out following the unexpected postponement of his concert at Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium.
Despite the postponement of his South Africa show, the Grammy-winning artist renowned for his chart-topping hits and electrifying live performances remains undeterred. Taking to Instagram, the Last Last hitmaker expressed that no agenda against will prosper.
In a recent Instagram post, Burna Boy acknowledged his enduring and sizable fanbase in South Africa. The self-proclaimed African Giant fondly recalled the massive support he received during his visit to the country last year and expressed his deep affection for South Africa. He assured his fans that he plans to make a triumphant return to the nation’s stage very soon.
“I was in SA last year and I had 100 Thousand of the most Beautiful South Africans Outside for me, so no dead agenda can Agend. I will see you again real soon South Africa I love you,” he wrote. Burna Boy’s remarks came after a widespread euphoria caused by the postponement of his show at the famed FNB Stadium owing to a poor turnout.
The concert, originally scheduled for this coming weekend, was set to be one of the largest gatherings of music enthusiasts in South Africa since the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. However, in a statement, Ticket Pro stated that the concert was postponed due to low ticket sales.
“We regret to announce the postponement of the highly anticipated Burna Boy concert scheduled to take place at FNB Stadium, Johannesburg on 23 September 2023. The concert will now take place on 16th of December 2023,” read a statement by Ticket Pro.
