“I honestly dont mind people bootlegging my music” Says Riky Rick

Boss Zonke released his debut album last year in April and decided to push the physical copies in an unconventional way. Usually CD are simply sold via music stores, that is the likes of Musica but Boss Zonke had other plans.

Even though you could find Family Values in the stores, Riky Rick had runners who were helping him take the CD’s to the people which helped him move more units in a shorter space of time. The album went Gold in 5 months.

In 2016, Boss Zonkeis still challenging the conventional way of doing things and has already started a new way of doing things. Riky Rick realised that most of his fans are not on iTunes and can not afford to buy music! The rapper says he doesn’t mind his music being bootlegged!
