Nomuzi Reflects On How Her Life Has Changed Since 2012

Nomoozie was a continental superstar before she became a rapper. Nomoozie has been in the entertainment industry since 2012 and a lot about the young ‘MaBrrr’ has changed since then and we are nothing short of proud of her.

In 2012, Nomuzi was the winner of the MTV Base VJ search which was when she became a frequent face on our TV screens. In 2014 we saw Moozlie pursuing a career in music which wasn’t so shocking because she already had the image and she has since found a way into our hearts forever!!! After departing from MTV Nomuzi took a moment to reflect and this is what she said,:

“Tomorrow I start a brand new and exciting adventure but before I get into that I think it’s important for me to reflect on where it all started. On October 20th 2012 I won the @mtvbaseafrica VJ Search and my life changed forever. (All praise to the most high??) From the moment I decided to stand in the line I knew the job was mine and I poured my heart and soul into every single minute of it. If you had asked me as a kid if I thought it were possible I probably would have told you I’m only worried about getting on YoTV?? but I would be lying if I said this wasn’t a dream come true… And then some!! I remember when MTV was that dope music channel with the sickest shows that I watched at my friend’s house on weekends because we didn’t have a decoder back then. Fast forward a couple of years and that channel was my life. I got to use my talent and love for African music and entertainment to take me all over the world. I met people from all walks of life and got to do things that most people couldn’t even dream of. I will never ever be the same again and I would like to the VIMN Africa and everyone at MTV Base and MTV for all that you have done for me. I will cherish this experience forever and all the lessons and memories are engraved in my heart. I really could go on and on but in short, I am so grateful and so blessed to have been apart of this incredible worldwide brand. If you contributed in any way I’d like to thank you too because I really couldn’t have done it on my own. It’s been nothing but love since day one and nothing has changed. I can only hope to continue to make you as proud of me as I am of you”
