Tumi Tells Us “What Happened To Rap”
Tumi has explained what he thinks happened to rap. SA Hip Hop has had a lot of turn up records coming out and hitting the mainstream and very few hard record with real bars. DJ Switch decided to change that and release Now Or Never.
Switch got several rappers on the Now Or Never Remix and it has to be one of the most anticipated singles of 2016. The running theme of the record is “what happened to rap” and every rapper seems to have their own answer to the question.
Tumi Molekane was invited to rap on the song and it seems he told Switch to get other young hot rappers on the record because they need the exposure. Even though he wasn’t on the record, Stogie T has still answered the question. “I bet you every rapper on that song think they took it. And that folks is what happened to rap” the legend explained.
