Emtee Addresses The Drugs Rumours Once And For All. Emtee has been one of the SA rappers who have to endure the abuse and trolling that comes with social media users. The rapper is still dealing with some of his demons of the past as people keep peddling the rumours that he was a drug addict.

Taking to Twitter, Emtee appeared to be very angered by all the talk that he was once a drug addict. The rapper made it clear that he has been sober and that people should stop pushing agendas. “All this drugs talk is pissin me off. I even quit lean. I been sober for a minute so don’t come to me with that drug talk shit. I’m done with that life! Stop tryna push agendas here misunu,” tweeted Emtee.

Emtee made his mark in the SA Hip-hop game following successful songs such as Pearl Thusi and Roll Up. The rapper’s career suffered a huge knock with reports that he was on drugs and he was having family disputes. The Hustler is currently working towards his forthcoming project DIY 3 which he promised his fans that he will release this year.

In an interview with Da L.E.S Emtee revealed that the death of his friend made him stop taking lean.  “Let me tell the truth right now, let me just clear that, that was not the main cause of his death, that right there f*cked me up because that was like my best friend so just those kind of things influenced my decisions. I hope it doesn’t look like it happened in a bad way to the person looking from the outside in but it’s like how many more lessons. I lost so many hommies, big hommies and as I say it’s time to inspire change,” he said.
