Will.I.am drops a pair of Bluetooth headphones, set to take the industry by storm! He seems to be position them as a fashion accessory.
Musician will.i.am might be recognized to some of you guys as one of the members of the Black Eyed Peas, although in recent times will.i.am seems to be focused more on gadgets, and has launched products like the Dial, a wearable, and earlier this year he also launched a pair i.am+ EPs headphones.
Speaking to Mashable, will.i.am was quoted as saying, “If you care about glasses and you buy glasses to go with your wallet and your wallet to go with your watch, your headphones should do the same. [These aren’t] headphones that you buy and put in your pocket.” The headphones will pair with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and it is expected to last 6-8 hours of continuous usage.
They come with 6 different earbud covers. The outer part of the headphones are magnets which means that one can wear them around their neck and clip them together when not in use. Priced around $230, exclusive at Apple Stores.
