Focalistic made it clear during his early days to fame that he was inspired by Cassper Nyovest, but he has made a U-turn on as he crowned the South African Billionaire Moestepe as his inspiration. The Amapiano star took to Instagram and revealed that he met Moestepe in France where the two had dinner together.

Met my inspiration in Paris šŸ¤žšŸ¾Ā @realpatricemotsepeĀ Billionaire ka sebele! We from the same hood. Same lingo. Having dinner in France.” Wrote Focalistic. Cassper did not hesitate to respond to Focalistic after he mentioned that he does not owe anything to Cassper Nyovest for inspiring him.

Cassper took to Twitter and cleared that his lyrics were not meant to offend Focalistic as he did it out of good faith. In the same tweet, Cassper stressed out that if Focalistic wanted to respond he could’ve done that with a song, not via Instagram Live.

Wasn’t a diss. All I meant was that I was proud to have inspired an artist like him who is flourishing like he is. He said it himself that he was inspired by me so it was nothing new but now shit’s weird now. He should’ve responded with a song if he wanted to take it there.” Cassper Tweeted.

Cassper also addressed what he meant by his lyrics as heĀ replied to a question asked by Freshmen Magazine on an Instagram post about whether or not his line was in fact directed at Focalistic. “Wasn’t a jab at him but looks like he took offence. Oh well, ke hip haap doggo.” Cassper responded.
