Emtee Reveals He Gave Up On Recording A Song Because He Wasn’t Allowed To Smoke. One thing Emtee has always stayed true in is being himself and prioritizing what’s important to him. Even in the process of making music the Hustla didn’t compromise himself.
Emtee has always made it clear he is not ashamed of smoking marijuana and that it’s a big part of his life. When he was asked to exit the studio because of smoking the rapper revealed that he preferred to no longer record the song and left. He prioritized getting his high and told the studio owner to ‘f*ck off’.
“Old bitch ass Nigga told me I can’t smoke in his studio I say fuck u then. TAke your money, fuck the song! I’m out!” Wrote Emtee.
In 2018 Emtee fell on stage and people were quick to blame his drug use, he came forward to clarify himself.
“I never had a drug problem. I was just in disbelief that people can do or say any and everything about you when you’re quiet and tryna not start shit. I use to be a dealer coz I was hungry.
“Niggas turned around and called me a druggie. I SOLD DAT SHIT COZ I WAS BROKE! NEVER USED IT,” he said.
