DJ Tira Opens Up About Why He’s Disappointed In Emtee. Emtee is one of the most sought-after SA rappers, especially for music features and events. However, music fans have a love-hate relationship with the self-proclaimed Big Hustle, while other notable musicians, such as DJ Maphorisa, consider him a jewel.
Taking to Twitter, DJ Mphorisa asked for help on how he can get hold of Emtee for bookings. “How do we book Emtee pls help,” tweeted DJ Maphorisa. DJ Tira was amongst the people who replied to Phori’s tweet as he expressed his disappointment with Emtee.
DJ Tira said that he once booked Emtee for a music video shoot for the song he did with Duncan titled Nomathemba. Tira said that he has never heard from Emtee since and the music video never came out. The Afrotainment boss added that he wishes the Hustler well and urged him to get his house in order.
“Emtee really disappointed me. We dropped a song with @DuncanSkuva, when we wanted to shoot the music video he disappeared, I have never heard from him since then. The music video never came out. But I wish him well, I hope he gets his house in order.” Tweeted Dj Tira.
Tira’s remarks on Emtee left a sour taste in some of his followers as they urged him not to attack Emtee. “Don’t give up on him malume ,it’s our duty as brothers to support each other like I told you on wattsupp yesterday let’s stick together.” Read the tweet.
The Durban music guru made it clear that he’s amongst the people advocating for Emtee’s well-being and he also wants to see him win. “Hence I have never attacked him and I only want him to win.” DJ Tira responded.
