Kwesta reacts to now being the most nominated rapper for the SAMAs. Before he became the most nominated rapper for the SAMA23, Kwesta was still had the popular vote both from fans of hip hop and industry peers and now his chances of winning have gone up.
Kwesta’s new record of six nominations comes in the wake of Nasty C losing two nods in the Music video of the year category after SAMAs concluded that the two videos were submitted way after closing date for submissions.
Kwesta is now leading the nominees list with six nominations. He took to twitter sharing his excitement writing, “6 FOR THE RECORD: Most SAMA Nominations received by a Hip-Hop artist. DaKAR II rewriting history!”

Don’t expect this to create any beef between Nasty C and Kwesta, the latter made it clear that it’s the man in the suit who is to blame not the artist. “#HandsOffNastyC,” Kwesta tweeted.
