AKA recently tweeted explaining why he made the moves he made in the game with different brands like Reebok. “Myself & Reebok have made it inevitable that other brands are going to have to give up the bag for artists in this country instead of just giving them gear,” tweeted AKA.

The rapper went on to explain why he did theses things saying that it was his way of building from were the rappers before him had left. He said that everything he has done in his career was not for his sole benefit but for the whole industry.

“Everything I’ve ever done in my career, business wise, music wise or music business wise, was not solely for the purpose of my own benefit, but so that I could build on the foundation that the artists before me laid, so that the ones after me could do the same,” read AKA’s following tweet.
