The video sparked divided opinion amongst tweeps with some praising him for the moves whilst others criticizing the acclaimed rapper for only using his hands. He was charged with ripping off the internet star Matenas, who is well-known for his dance skills, by several people.

Taking to Twitter, Cassper explained that the lyrics were not aimed at the Amapiano star. The rapper further mentioned that if Focalistic wanted to respond he could have done so by a song if he want to beef with him.

“Wasn’t a diss. All I meant was that I was proud to have inspired an artist like him who is flourishing like he is. He said it himself that he was inspired by me so it was nothing new but now shit’s weird now. He should’ve responded with a song if he wanted to take it there” Tweeted Cassper.
