NOTA Critics GQ Awards For Honouring Riky Rick

The music executive always makes sure that every tweet he posts evokes a conversation on the timeline all in a bid to top the trends. This time around, NOTA slammed the homage paid to the late rapper and fashion icon Riky Rick at the GQ Best Dressed Awards.

Taking to Twitter, NOTA criticized the award organizers for glorifying suicide after honouring Riky Rick. NOTA stated that he is very angry at Riky for leaving his family with all sorts of problems. The controversial music executive alleged that Riky Rick left his wife with a legal battle to fight for his inheritance.

GQ magazine honouring Riky for committing suicide is going to encourage his young impressionable fans to mimic him for attention. My homie leaving the mother of his son to fight for his estate in court is what made me so angry at him for taking his own life in the first place.” NOTA tweeted.

Following his rants on Riky Riky, NOTA went on and disparage Kwesta his former business partner and friend. This is because he claimed Kwesta used fraud to win the 2019 award for one of the best-dressed male personalities. In a tweet, Baloyi stated that he is only exposing the dark side of the GQ Awards so that they stop misleading people with publicity scams.

GQ wanted Kwesta to perform at their event & I said only on condition they put him on the best dressed list. I’m just exposing that scam so that it isn’t used to mislead people into thinking the #GQBestDressed2022 is anything other than a publicity scam…” Tweeted NOTA.

NOTA went on to say that he has documentation in the form of an email to back up his claims about Kwesta. He boasted that Kwesta did not show up to perform, therefore they scammed the scammers.

“I have the email correspondence proving this & Kwesta has his 2019 Best Dressed Award to prove it. He didn’t show up for the performance therefor we scammed the scammers! The same racist GQ magazine that dehumanise black men for their shareholders benefit…” NOTA wrote in a tweet.
