AKA and Black Coffee don’t get along but the Supa Mega respects the man. The BET Awards took place last night and we saw the #AKAwinangart hashtag trending. This hashtag was birthed after an award show which the Supa Mega walked away empty handed.

This was AKA’s second BET nomination and it was clear that a certain group of South African’s prayers were answered after the Supa Mega walked away empty handed. AKA did not let this get to him seeing that he still performed with his SA flag on the BET Experience main stage.

After Black Coffee won the BET Award fans expected AKA to be angry for some reason but that wasn’t the case. “Look, Black Coffee and me don’t really dig each other, BUT I RESPECT HIM & HIS ART. I acknowledge him for the pioneer he is” said the 3rd Wrld Boss via his Twitter account.
