“Niggas ignore my phone calls and Dms,” Cassper On Trying To Form Unity In SA Hip Hop

“Niggas ignore my phone calls and Dms,” Cassper On Trying To Form Unity In SA Hip Hop. Cassper has once again complained that the lack of unity on SA Hip Hop artists is why there’s little to no progress compared to Nigeria.

Nyovest has complained many a times that SA Hip Hop has a long way to go. He said as long as artists allow their personal feelings of each other cloud the aim to escalate the status of the genre there won’t be anything better to look forward to.

The second complaint comes after Mufasa said that he feels disregarded by the genre, he said they don’t recognize him. This was because he tried out Kwaito and people suddenly shoved him off the genre.

“Nah, my fans are not hip hop fans. It’s people from all walks of life. I have to cater for my market. Besides that, Hip Hop don’t see me as their guy anyway. Im the other guy & im enjoying just bejng myself without these unwritten SA hip hop rules. I just wanna be Nje & have fun.”

Expressing his worry on the state of the genre and the people involved Cassper felt that local artists can be as successful like Nigerian artists but there’s too much dislike and egos.

“We could have the same thing but nah, we would rather fight amongst ourselves and cut down our airplay to cut the reach. Disrepect our own sound and artists. That’s our vibe here. Niggas not playing your music cause they don’t like you, you know? Those vibes. We lost.”

He added that he failed in his attempts to unite Hip hop artists because they ignore him.

“Tried. Niggas ignoring my phone calls and Dms. Nobody wants to fuck with each other ouchea. It’s all Egos. Who gone make it on his own? Thats the race we running in SA.
