Following his death, Tweezy tweeted a tribute to Prokid thanking the late rapper for inspiring him to get involved in Hip Hop. “You inspired me to get involved in the SA hip hop culture for the purpose of putting our hood on the map. This caught a lot of the SA Hip Hop fans attention as they were puzzled by the rapper’s statement that he will be taking the baton from Pro since they were from the same neighbourhood. “I’ll take it from here”..
