Police Minister Claims Close Associates Murdered AKA. In two months it will mark a year after South Africa and the world were robbed of the rap icon Kiernan Jarryd Forbes. AKA was murdered in Durban on February 10 2023 along with his friend  Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane and the murder case of the two has been nothing sort of a whirlwind.

Speaking in a recent Metro FM radio interview, Police Minister Bheki Cele gave an update on the progress the police have made towards the AKA and Tibz murder case. The Minister said that the police had confiscated the gun and the gateway car that was used on the fateful day.

“That is really under the guide and the oversight of the provincial commissioner, he has given the reports of late that we’ve found the gateway car, the gun has been found,” Bheki Cele said. “They have found two people that I know for sure those people have been kept very safe because they know very well what happened on the particular day.”

“We know who we are chasing, and those two guys must be kept very safe because they know what happened on the particular day and even beyond the day about the networks that led to the unfortunate murder of AKA.”

The Minister further stated that the people who killed the Fela In Versace hitmaker were hired but some of them were close associates of the award-winning rapper. “Those people, some of them were hired, I guess once you’re hired you’re an Inkabi. But some of those people were close associates of the deceased,” Bheki Cele added.

The trend #JusticeForAKA might’ve died down, but the fans and everyone whom the late rapper impacted are still grappling to come to terms with his passing. In a radio interview, a Psychic Medium revealed that it will take years before the public gets to know who murdered AKA. She also stated that the person who will reveal the details of AKA‘s murder is someone close to the family.

“Give it some time, give it a couple of years and then the truth will come,” she said during an interview with Jacinta Ngobese.

“It’s not going to be family, it’s going to be somebody connected to the family who is going to make a mistake and come forward and say yes I know about it, it was such and such.” On whether there will be any arrests, the Psychic Medium said no arrests will be made. “Could anything be done about it, could someone be arrested? No. It will be one of the cases where there will be no arrest ever.”
