“We lack producers” Says JR on the music industry after a meeting with Sylvia Rhone. The musician has been in the game for a very long time and in the last couple of years, JR has been developing artists behind the scenes.

The Feel Good Music boss spoke about the state of SA music with American music industry executive Sylvia Rhone. After the meeting, JR realised that the problem is something he identified a while back.  “WE LACK PRODUCERS!”

JR went on to explain how SA artists are too good to be produced. “Too many SA artists are “too good” to be produced… Well, Kanye ain’t, Beyonce ain’t, Bruno Mars ain’t, Adele ain’t, so who are YOU to be?” he asked.
