Reason Would Rather Be Broke Than Feature On A Wack Song, He explains

Reason Would Rather Be Broke Than Feature On A Wack Song, He explains. Reason made it clear yesterday that he can never associate himself with a song or artist that he finds wack for the sake of making cash.

The rapper tweeted that there’s a rapper who offered to pay him R100 000 for a verse. While most would have jumped on the opportunity for the sake of getting paid, Reason felt otherwise. He pointed out that the song wasn’t impressive and if he jumps into it can ruin his credibility and public image as a lyricist.

Most tweeps came up with the reason that he needs to do it and get money because he has four kids depending on his financial support. But still he isn’t willing to drop his morals for cash.

“If I was SUFFERING. Maybe. But. I wasn’t raised like that. My parents weren’t well off, but they ain’t never had to support wack shit for money. They were all about making a plan. But never compromising… well… their “morals and standards,” he wrote.

Some people judged that he isn’t a setting a good example or image for turning down someone who is looking for a breakthrough. That’s when the Seasons rapper said he’d drop any verse for free if the song is lit.
