Taking to social media, DJ Audiomarc has called on instrumental people in the game to use their voice in saving the game. The acclaimed DJ also aired his concerns on hip hop resources being utilised to save other projects that have nothing to do with the rap game.

Hip-hop has the music, but we just need instrumental people like Tbo Touch to hype up the music up on the radio, we need fire hosts/hypeman that know Hip-hop lyrics & crowd control to do their thing in clubs & events in general. That’s the gap in the market. Hip-hop resources shouldn’t be used to push other genres, e.g last years’ BET cypher.” He said.

This is not the first time that Audiomarc has shared concerns over the state of SA hip hop. The DJ once revealed that the rap game in South Ah is flopping due to a lack of unity and respect in the game. “SA Hip-hop flopped when everyone claimed to be the best, confidently refused to respect & acknowledge the ones putting in the work and raising the bar higher. It’s just pollution of jealousy, plagiarism & hatred amongst the community. There’s absolutely no unity.” He tweeted.
