Blaklez On How He Feels About Working With Zola 7. After keeping things low profile for a few years Zola 7 decided to make a comeback.
As a legendary star a number of artists felt like working with Zola would go down in history. Blaklez seems not to be in a rush.
The DMX Prayer rapper has always counted as one of the most conscious rappers in the sscene. Having confronted issues through his music ranging from depression, Senzo Meyiwa’s death and various societal injustices at least Lez has covered most. Zola 7 also was an artist that expressed important issues.
Fans felt the two would make a perfect combination since their style is almost the same. “We speak often. Timing is everything,” he wrote.
The fact they speak often has put enough hope that a single or two with both stars in the future is nearing.
Zola’s come back was inspired by how young rappers are willing to work with him. This comes after he made headlines for being sick, speculations that were made to justify his absence.
“I was never in hospital. I went to Medicross for my blood tests and was there no longer than an hour.”
The Lwandle hitmaker also slammed claims that the condition was serious, sarcastically declaring that he had died and come back to life again.
“Tell my people that I died and woke up.”
He added speaking to TshisaLIVE that he was on the mend and feeling much better.
“I am good and well. I live”
