At first it was an international thing with American rappers like T.I share theirs but seems to have spilled over to South Africa. AKA recently went on Twitter to share his top 10 SA Hip Hop artists list.
On AKA’s list, the late veteran Pro was at the top of the list and he put himself second which seems to explain a double entendre on his Ayipheli verse when he says “top 2, I’m 2, the only one above me is Linda Mkhize. Fans had a lot to say about the list with most questions lingering around the absence of Proverb and Reason.
Rashid Kay recently saw the list and decided to share his 2 cents on Supa Mega’s top 10 list. “Any list without @ProVerbMusic is invalid. A greatest MC doesn’t need a Vodka endorsement to be great,” tweeted Rashid.
