Vth Season Announces AKA’s Forthcoming Music Release

The unexpected announcement has caught many off guard, considering AKA‘s untimely demise in February 2023. Taking to Instagram, Vth Season shared an image of an anagram and tasked the Megacy to guess the AKA song that they are set to release on Friday.

“New @akaworldwide release this Friday! 😮‍💨🔥Guess the name of the song in the comments below & stand a chance to win an AKA t-shirt 🚀 #akaforever#longlivesupamega,” read the post. Fans were quick to react to the post with most of them stating that the forthcoming single is “Company Remix.”

The announcement marks a significant development in the wake of AKA’s passing. His fans have been clamouring for unreleased material, and Vth Season’s decision to share this new music suggests a treasure trove of unheard AKA may be waiting in the vaults.

In a SlikourOnLife interview following AKA’s passing, Raphael Benza expressed that he and the team overseeing AKA’s music career would unveil the late rapper’s music at an opportune moment. The recent move to release the Company Remix seems to be in line with their broader strategy for AKA and his family.

“He has a lot of music that’s there. Someone did ask me about that question and I said you know what, in order for us to share more music Kiernan has to give us a sign.”

We don’t know what that sign would be, but he (AKA) will tell us that he wants more music. He and the fans when they are ready we will,” said Benza. “Right now we are focusing on Mass Country and there’s a lot of good stuff and I don’t want to leave Mass Country until I know I’ve reached the target that he set for us before he went away and it’s getting there,” he added.
