“I Wouldn’t Be Here If I Wasn’t Associated With Him,” Nadia On Where She Stands With Cassper. Nadia Nakai and Cassper’s relationship has not been the same ever since she left Family Tree Records. The rapper has stated numerous times that she and Cassper are in good books even though they are no longer visibly together.

In an interview with SA Hip Hop Mag, the Nadia Naked chanter stated that while her relationship with Cassper is no longer in the same place it once was, the two are still in the good books.

“The thing is that people obviously can see that we’re not as visibly together as we were before when I was signed to his label but we still cool. I saw him the other night at a party we greet each other, we have a chat we continue with our lives as it always has been, but obviously, it’s not the way that we used to push it before,” she said.

Nadia Nakai indicated that she would not be where she is in her career without Cassper and she still has a lot of respect for her former boss. “Like I said over and over again, I would never disrespect Cass like that because he really put my career on a pedestal and he gave me that limelight I needed that push that I needed,” Nadia said.

She went on and give all the credit to Mufasa for pushing her music career to where it is now. “I wouldn’t be here if I wasn’t an artist I was signed to Family Tree and associated with them, but it’s not the same, it changed and purely music-wise it’s just like he’s not as involved in my business and my music that’s okay because you need to grow and he did the same thing when he left HHP,” she added.
