Priddy Ugly Weighs In On #SAHHA2022 Lyricist Of The Year Nominees. The SA Hip Hop Awards organizers revealed the list of rappers who have been nominated for the upcoming awards, which will take place on 10 December.
Taking from the list of nominees for the 2022 SA Hip hop Awards there haven’t been many surprises and heavily contested nominees. Priddy Ugly is amongst the rappers who have managed to put in the work with new music. The rapper dropped MUD EP which had contributions from Zoocci Coke Dop, Blxckie and Maglera Doe Boy.
The rapper’s work received a good reception hence he got a nominee for the Lyricist Of The Year Award. Priddy Ugly was nominated with the likes of A-Reece, PDotO, Tyson Sybateli and Zulu Mecca. Taking to Twitter, the 30 minutes to Soweto chanter did agree with the rappers that he will be contesting against for the awards and he also praised Zulu Mecca’s pen game. “Spitters for sure! But @ZuluMecca guys,” he tweeted.
Despite getting a nominee for the Lyricist Awards, Priddy Ugly also acknowledged other rappers whom he believes have the best pen game in SA hip hop. The father of one wrote in another tweet that Maglera Doe is also one of the best lyricists in the country. “Doe Boy is a lyricist & one of the best too!” He tweeted.
With what he has achieved this year following the release of his project, the rapper claimed that it has been a good year for SA Hip hop as he gave a shoutout to all the relevant participants. “It’s been a good year for SA HIP HOP.
