Cassper Explains Why He Promotes Free Downloads! A lot of South African musicians have often complained about fans who download their music for free saying that they are stealing from them.
A lot of the fans also agree with the artists under the impression that this is how musicians make their money. After Cassper dropped his single Hase Mo State, the rapper told his fans to get the song anyway possible including downloading it for free and had a fan tell the rapper that he was counteracting other artists hustle by doing that.
Buy it, fakaza it, google play, whatever you can afford. A wenze lapho!!! #HaseMoStates

I fw you Cass but promoting this immoral act disrespects the culture. There are a lot of artists out there that put excessive energy on art and rely on it to put food on the plate and you are slowly counteracting their hustle. They deserve their piece of the pie.

Batho ba sokola jo. What should people do if they can’t AFFORD to buy music but they want to listen to your music & support you? I was talking about my song also. If you really can’t afford to buy my song, fakaza it. I appreciate the love either way. Come to my shows & rap along.
