L Tido Shares Who He Thinks The Best Group To Come Out Of Mzansi Is. L Tido took a trip down memory lane and gave those who came before the skrrr skrr days some real nostalgia with his appreciation tweet sharing his view on which group ruled the streets when it came to making classic hits.
Taking to social media L tido posted an appreciation tweet to award winning Kwaito trio TKZee, claiming they are the G.O.A.Ts when it comes to groups who made a mark in the local music forefront, and there’s no caps detected on that one.
“TKZee best group to come out of….that applies for any genre” he wrote.
Tokollo Tshabalala, Kabelo Mabalane, and Zwai Bala formally known as TKZee ruled the late 90s and early 2000s with their hit debut singles Palafala and Shibobo.
With smash singles like “Dlala Mapansula”, “Mambotjie” & “We Love This Place”, in 1998, after they released their first full album Halloween, the trio earned a Platinum album certification and a SAMA (South African Music Award) for Best Kwaito Album.
