How SA Rappers Reacted To DMX’s Death. SA Rappers are known to be influenced by International rappers whose sound we hear through some popular SA Hip Hop songs. Some of our rappers even make it known that they aren’t trying to hide their influences.
It was recently announced that American rapper DMX passed away on the 9th of April 2021. He passed way at White Plains Hospital, in New York after he suffered cardiac arrest the week before. SA Rappers took to twitter to share their condolences for the rapper. A few rappers expressed that they were influenced by the rapper.
Gigi Lamayne, shared her condolences writing that he gets to see his close friend Aaliyah again and attached images of the two of them together. Her tweet read, “Long live DMX !! We lost. But you get to see Aaliyah again. Heaven couldnβt wait.”
Sjava quoted lyrics from DMX’s famous track What These B*tches Want, his tweet read, “Come on Ma you know I got a wife Even though that pussy tight I Ainβt going to jeopardize my Life R.I.P DMX“.
Blayze mentioned that DMX was one of his favourite rappers had such a massive impact on his life. “RIP DMX…. one of my favourite artists and had such a massive impact on my life…“.
Maggz and Cassper simply tweeted, “RIP DMX”.
L-Tido posted an iconic photo of the rapper and thanked him for creating a soundtrack to his life. “This pic so iconic! thank you for proving a soundtrack to my life #RIPDMX“.
