Priddy Ugly Reveals The Rapper He Was Once In A Group With
Rapper Priddy Ugly has been in the SA Hip Hop game for 15 years and during his time in the game, he has worked with several names. In his recent interview on POPradio with Ms Cosmo and Scoop Makhathini, the rapper revealed an unknown fact about himself involving a popular rapper in the Hip Hop game. Priddy Ugly shared with the hosts that he was once in a band this is during his high school days. The rapper also revealed which South Ah artist he was in the band with.
Priddy Ugly during the interview shared that he no longer goes out as much as he used to but if a certain homie such as Frank Casino hits him up to join him at the club, he does end up joining him. This is when the hosts asked the Handful Of Dust hitmaker, about his relationship with Frank Casino and in his response revealed just how far he and Frank Casino go. Priddy Ugly and Frank Casino grew up together in the East Rand.
“Frank is like one of my dudes, shout out to Frank. I’ve known him since high school, grade 8. And when I was in a group the first group that I was a part of was a group called Black print. The first song we recorded was a song called Big Bowling. This is 14 years ago and after recording that song. We were friends with a girl who was on YoTv at the time, her name was Vusiswa she was a part of the group Maponya. She had heard the songs through the homies and she’s like yo man I love this you guys want to come to perform on Big Breakfast YoTv, we’re like yeah sure. We went out there we performed… So Frank Casino was in this group with me his an engineer right now,” shared Priddy Ugly.
Whilst Frank Casino may be heavily behind the scenes at the moment, he does pop up here and there to drop music for the streets to enjoy. He recently dropped a collaboration with Riky Rick called, Forever. Priddy and Frank Casino have also worked on music together in 2017, Priddy featured on Frank Casino’s track called Sawce. The vibes are all good between the childhood friends and Priddy also noted in the interview that it is good to see people who he grew up with doing well in their respective industries.
