Emtee Speaks Out Against The Unfair Treatment Of SA Hip Hop Artists
Emtee Speaks Out Against The Unfair Treatment Of SA Hip Hop Artists. Emtee has long expressed his dissatisfaction with the way his former record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, has treated him. Emtee isn’t the only one who has complained about the record label’s treatment of him, but many artists left the record label due to mistreatments they were getting from Ambitiouz.
Taking to Twitter recently, the rapper has called out the unfair treatment that is happening to most hip hop artists right now. The Roll-Up hitmaker alluded that most artists in the game are getting signed by people who do not care about them. The rapper further went on and called for the restoration of sanity in the hip hop culture.
“As a hip hop artist, you can get signed by somebody that doesn’t fuck with you or rap or they just grow to hate you cos u making a living from Rappin and doing all the shit they wish they could do. #RestoreHipHop #Restoreculture,” tweeted Emtee.
Emtee‘s decision to leave Ambitiouz Records paved a way for him to start his own record label Emtee Records and his collective ATM (African Trap Movement) too. His Emtee Record has gone on full throttle to produce good music for SA hip hop with his album Logan getting a nomination at the SAHHA. The rapper has also signed Lolli Native under his record label an artist who has been making good hits along with the underwear ranger as of late.
