The self-proclaimed Somnyama is the most sought-after artist not only in South African hip-hop but his ability to deliver on songs has made him an appropriate choice in other genres.

Taking to Twitter, Blxckie announced a triple music release as he secured three features for the Friday new music release. “another somnyama Friday.” He tweeted. Blxckie came through for his homegirl Holly Rey on the track “Slow Down” which is now available for streaming on Apple Music. The track marked Holly Rey’s music comeback following a hiatus.

As if that was not enough, Somnyama ventured into the Amapiano wave and hopped on Lady Du’s new album on the track “Piano Lase Southa.” The Durban native rapper went on and flexed his rap muscles as he featured on Swervo’s new release “Da most trendy.”

Blxckie has never been on the back foot when it’s time to drop music for his cheerful fans. In the past weeks, the rapper set tongues wagging after the release of Ronda’s music video. Not only has he received plaudit for his work, but he also expressed with adamant that Ronda will be the music video of the year.

Since making his mark in the music industry, the rapper has been phenomenal, and he has received flowers from some of his peers. Nasty C has stated that Blxckie is one of his favourite SA rappers right now, and he has applauded him for his efforts.

“The one guy that I was gonna say who is already making crazy moves, I think he is in the States right now doing like a promo thing, Blxckie, one of my favourites,” said Nasty C on BBC 1Xtra.
