Venom Reacts To The New #Sondela Dance Challenge On TikTok. ‘Sondela’ has quickly gone to the top of the charts across numerous platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, since its debut around Valentine’s Day.

The single has become one of the biggest songs in the country right now and it’s not surprising why South Africans have decided to start a Tiktok dance challenge.

Taking to Twitter, Venom has shown how amused he is with the new dance challenge that is taking place on Tiktok. The DJ has called for the help of the Amapiano hitmaker Khamo Mpela and dancer Pabi Cooper to teach him how to dance before he decides to jump into the challenge. “There’s a #Sondela challenge thereby @tiktok_sa I need @KamoMphela_ & @cooper_pabi to come to teach me how to dance ASAP.” Tweeted Venom.

Sondela topped the official South African charts for both local and foreign music, Risa’s (Recording Industry of South Africa), last week. Prior to that Venom, Shishiliza and Sony Music also announced that the song has reached one million plays on Apple Music and YouTube.

With Riky’s passing still fresh in the minds of fans and the music industry, Shishiliza used the opportunity to add “LongLiveBossZonke” to his post as a tribute to the late rapper after the single was certified gold. “1M plays on for Sondela on @YouTube & @AppleMusic #longlivebosszonke.” He wrote.
