Emtee Sneers Flash Ikumkani’s Imminent Album Release

Emtee Sneers Flash Ikumkani’s Imminent Album Release. In the highly competitive South African Hip Hop scene, fostering camaraderie among artists comes naturally, but it’s equally common to witness rifts and disagreements between fellow rappers. This trend has been a longstanding norm within the South African rap culture for many years.

Emtee Sneers Flash Ikumkani’s Imminent Album Release

Emtee and Flash Ikumkani previously had a strong collaborative connection within Emtee Records, but a rift emerged when Flash made comments about Lolli Native. This incident caused a falling out between them, leading to a strained relationship between the two artists.

Taking to Twitter (X), RSA Music PLVG announced that Flash Ikumkani will be dropping an album titled “Isibane Selali” which features well-decorated artists in the game such as Maraza, Driemanskap, BhutLegend and Bravo Le Roux.

“Flash Ikumkani @Flash_Ikumkani I set to drop new album titled #IsibaneSelali he already shot visual for the first single #QhaweLamaQwawe ft Maraza @Marazamc features Driemanskap @driemanskap , BhutLegend @BhutLegend , Bravo Le Roux @bravoleroux distributed by @soldistro_,” read the post. Emtee seemed unenthusiastic about the album announcement for Flash Ikumkani, going so far as to dismiss it by asserting that nobody cares about Flash’s album. “Who gives a f*ck?” Emtee said.

Emtee and Flash have worked together on a song titled “Laqhasha” from Emtee’s 2021 album “Logan” but the former has made it clear that he will never work with his fellow rapper again. “the f*ck would I work with flash for?” Emtee said after being asked whether he would work with Flash again.

Emtee, like several other South African rappers, is gearing up to release an album this year. The intrigue heightens as his counterpart, Flash Ikumkani, is also in the process of unveiling an album. It remains to be seen which artist between them will deliver the superior project.
