“I gave you n*ggas life” Big Xhosa Rants, Demanding Respect From SA Rappers. Big Xhosa has come out and demanded respect from big-name SA rappers. The rapper is currently enjoying a successful spell following the release of his first-ever body of work “Almost Time.”

Taking to Twitter, Big Xhosa claimed that he is the one that has the best SA hip-hop project so far this year. “We need to be honest, we need to tell the truth, and the truth is I have the best hip-hop project this month, this year, nobody and nothing come close to it musically and that’s it.” He said.

Big Xhosa went on and demanded respect from SA rappers. The Almost Time chanter claimed that there is no SA rapper who doesn’t know who he is and they wouldn’t be the topic today if it wasn’t for him. “First of all, there is no rapper in the country that does not know who I am, not even one,” he said.

“If it wasn’t for me, you n*ggas wouldn’t be a topic today, they hopped in the Big Xhosa Challenge and started dissing each other and guess what, today they are eating because of me.” The contentious rapper continued by boasting about giving other rappers in South Africa their existence as he demanded for recognition.

“I gave you n*ggas life, yes, I gave you life, respect me, I should be taking a percentage from each and every one of you, I should be getting a percentage from your gig money, from your music money, I gave you life, don’t disrespect me, I am that guy,” said Big Xhosa.

He added by saying; “when everyone was f*cking running to Piano, I was holding things down for you in 2021, I’m that guy respect me!” Big Xhosa went on to criticize rappers who see him in private and give him flowers but do not do the same in public.

“I am not taking any more disrespect, do you know what I hate? Is when I see a rapper behind the scenes or in the club or anywhere, they come to me, (“aah ntwana you’re very smart, I like the way do things.”) why not say anything in public about me then?”

“If you are not gonna say anything in public about me, acting like I’m cancelled don’t say anything to me when you meet me. Im the most talented artist in the country. If I want to, I f*ck around and make everyone laugh, if I want to, I out-rap everyone and I have the best hip-hop project in the country musically.“

“You get to hear songs about pain, you get to hear struggle, you get to hear fun, different sounds, RnB, Kwaito in the same project, who does that? Im the best respect me, I’m not taking any more disrespect.” He said.
