AKA Plans To Join Scoop Makhathini On A Journey To Mentor Young Men. Supa Mega has also decided to venture into a course of mentoring young people as someone who is influential. The rapper shared that he was inspired by what Scoop has been doing and plans to take further – mentoring young people.
Scoop announced earlier this year that he will be making time out of his busy schedule to help give guidance to young creative people. To further put a stamp on his words, he made an official statement yesterday.
On his official announcement he mentioned precisely that he is looking to mentor young boys from the age o 15 to the age of 24. They must be creative beings who are talented artists with a will to learn.
“Throughout my 12 years in the entertainment industry, many kids have come up to me and asked me to be their mentor. I shied away from the responsibility because i didn;t know what i was going to say to them and what mentorship would actually entail.
“This is formal invitational call-out for only young boys and young males. They have to be creatives as well, painters, sculptures, fashion designers, graphic designers and guys involved in film,” said the radio host.
AKA on the other stated that he feels guilty for not mentoring enough boys. “I myself am guilty of not mentoring enough young men and that is something I need to change and take responsibility for.”
He added on how Scoop inspired him. “Yeah man, I just went through @scoopmakhathini’s insta page and saw he’s going to try and do his part … I need to do the same.”
