Reason is amongst the hip-hop artists who have been pouring their hearts out and reflecting on the good moments they had with Boss Zonke. Taking to Twitter, the rapper disclosed his relationship with Riky and how much respect he had for Boss Zonke. “He was a year younger than me. Yet. Still my father.” Tweeted Reason.

Reason and Riky Rick have worked with each other well to make sure they keep the hip hop game alive. Reason managed to engage with Boss Zonke in an interview during the lockdown episode of Rhymes on Slikour On Life.

Unbeknownst to many, the rapper was an underground rapper who rose to prominence through time, as Riky Rick acknowledged in the interview, citing American rappers from the 1990s as his main inspirations.

Riky Rick cites late American rapper Tupac as an example of an inspiration that influenced not just his musical style but also his way of life. He added that he took parts of their rap techniques and tweaked them to fit his own. That made Reason have much respect for Boss Zonke despite the latter being a year younger than Reason.
