Blxckie Celebrates 2 Years Of “B4Now” Album. In 2021, Blxckie made his debut with the release of one of South Africa’s biggest hip-hop albums. Since then releasing new music has become a norm for the Durban-born rapper who has been a darling of the rap culture in South Ah.

Taking to Instagram, the Yex4 hitmaker reflected on the life-changing moment two years ago following the release of his debut album B4Now. “Changed my life on this day 2 years ago,” wrote Blxckie. The COVID lockdown proved to be a blessing for Blxckie and his boys as they were stuck in Joburg following movement restrictions.

In celebration of the 2 year anniversary of the B4Now album, Blxckie has offered his fans new music. Taking to Twitter, Somnyama announced the new music pack stating that it’s available on Soundcloud. “2yr anniversary pack on SoundCloud. enjoy. thank you.” Tweeted Blxckie.

The rapper made waves on the internet since everyone was in their homes and they witnessed the rapper’s greatness. In one of the songs Mama Its Bad off his debut album, Blxckie took the chance to explain to his mother about his move to Joburg.

The rapper said he made the song soon after moving to Jozi and how hard life was in pursuit of his dreams. “I did this song within the first days of moving to the Johannesburg suburb Midrand, where I’m staying low,” he said according to an Apple Music publication.

“It’s basically an ode to uMa, my mother. Im trying to explain to her the plan I had moving here it’s not really working out anymore. And I couldn’t really tell her over the phone. So this song is basically explaining to uMa that things are getting tougher and tougher each day and it’s bad.”

Along the way, Blxckie has secured partnership deals with reputable brands such as RedBat and PUMA. As it stands, the famed rapper has been one of the most wanted artists when it comes to features. Somnyama has secured collaborations with the likes of Elaine, AKA and Holly Rey.
